CAUTION:

Practicing forced concentration while sleep deprived can exhibit ESP in some form,

but such practice may be hazardous to your health.

I am a member of Mensa, a Navy veteran, and a medical sonographer. I do not consider myself a psychic. Yet looking back at my experiences not only do I know that anyone can experience psychic phenomena, I also learned how to do it.

When I was younger my lifestyle had lead me to become overly sleep deprived. One day while at work I was desperate to close my eyes and sat down alone for a brief nap. Before falling asleep I had convinced myself that I would keep my ears alert enough to listen for anyone who might discover me. In doing so I had accidentally achieved a form of conscious sleep. My body had shut down to rest but a certain fear or anxiety of getting caught kept me hyper aware of my surroundings. With my eyes closed, I was somehow seeing people in the area around me in the form of phosphenes. I could see someone behind a wall walking toward me so I woke myself up to find that person actually approaching. I had tried to discredit what had happened to me but after a few years I returned to this experience finally willing to go further. For a long time I was in a heavily sleep deprived state and would try to replicate my previous experiences by focusing on keeping alert as my body would eventually force itself to collapse into a sleep. This is how I managed to become aware of psychic phenomena. This is how I was able to dream of unknowable things, witness UFOs, and encounter an entity known as the Shadow Man.

It did not feel mystical. It was simply an exploration of a new field of science. The mechanics of what is happening involves the existence of an ultra-dimension and its ever-present link to us and all things. For me, sleep deprivation subdued the constant sensory input our brains normally receive allowing me to detect psychic or four dimensional information that is normally drowned out when we're rested. Naturally born psychics may achieve this feat with much less effort, but anyone can develop this ability. Would a sleep deprivation experiment work for you? I would want to know, but I do not recommend it. A psychic meditative state has been known to be achieved with healthier and more appropriate techniques using aids such as scrying surfaces, hypnosis, biofeedback, and binaural beats. Once you've managed to reach this state, you may begin to notice psychic information appearing to your consciousness simply by your intention to receive it. One challenge to this process however is differentiating between what information comes from you and what comes from a psychic source. This is why new practitioners of ESP are prone to errors. To illustrate, imagine you are tasked to psychically retrieve information about a person from a picture you are given. The moment your eyes see the picture your brain instinctively begins to fill in information gaps which can corrupt any psychic information. However if you were given the picture hidden in a sealed envelope, you are more likely to preserve any psychic input that channels into your mind. Meditation in a sensory deprivation tank can be helpful with this practice. Remember, psychic  information can be details or sensations that are extreme or extremely subtle based on your abilities. As you exercise these abilities to perceive four dimensions, it is likely you may also become privy to entities which traverse the hidden routinely.

Again, I do not believe myself to be a psychic. I do not practice habitually nor do these experiences happen to me under normal conditions. But I did learn the truth, that the world we're accustomed to exists behind a veil, one that hides secrets that live all around us, all the time. Secrets that will change your life, the future of our world, and our understanding of the universe. If you're brave enough to open your eye and peek behind the veil you will discover that beyond it lives the theory of everything. We look above to make first contact, when we should look within.
